Hadja Kobele

Hadja Kobele Keita is a veteran in the music industry, with over 15 years of experience in music, touring and management. She has successfully worked alongside iconic music stars such as; 2Baba Idibia, Fally Ipupa, T-Pain, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Ace Hood, KIFF No Beat, Koffi Olomide, Mavado, Dj Arafat, Denise, Lyna Mayhem, Nesly, Patoranking, Dadju, Macheal Montana, Gyptian, Mr Eazi, Runtown, Sarkodie, Nasty C and Wizkid, to name a few. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated great ingenuity as a music industry executive. Before joining The Temple Management as Managing Director for Francophone Africa, she held the position of Head of Public Relations and Special Projects at Universal Music Group in Paris and Abidjan. Her experience as a seasoned talent scout and versatile promoter, with considerable international influence in the media and public relations fields, is invaluable to the African music industry.

Renowned for her skill in building a positive relationship between artists and consumers in today’s ever-changing entertainment industry, Hadja is also an independent marketing and production consultant with her company, Coyah International Productions. She is a proud Bison, passionately representing her alma mater, Howard University, wherever she goes.

Over the years, she has established herself as one of Africa’s most influential talent scouts (A&R), collaborating with global brands such as Roc Nation, BET, and South By South West (SXSW). She is also the co-founder of Sounds from Africa, a gathering place at the annual SXSW conference for some of the greatest musicians from Africa and the diaspora.

She is committed to helping the world understand that the African entertainment industry is not limited to East, West, or Southern Africa, but that there are also important stories in Francophone, Lusophone, and Northern Africa. Her goal, through Coyah International Productions, is to be the guardian of these stories.
