C.Waï and Panoramic are pleased to announce the launch of the Jayli Awards, a prestigious annual ceremony dedicated to celebrating the finest talents in African music.

Recognized as a hub for African music, Côte d’Ivoire hosts the Jayli Awards each year, an event aimed at promoting musical excellence and supporting African artistic creation based on rigorous technical standards. This continental benchmark aspires to become the African equivalent of the Grammy Awards or the Oscars in the United States, in terms of genre diversity, credibility, and international reach. The goal is to forge strong connections across Africa through the power of music.

Under the patronage of Mrs. Dominique OUATTARA, First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, the Jayli Awards annually honor the continent’s most promising talents with nine competitive awards and an honorary trophy. A high-level pan-African jury, comprised of producers, artists, cultural journalists, and industry experts, evaluates the nominated works according to international standards. Public votes also contribute to the selection of the winners, who are revealed during a prestigious evening gathering iconic African figures and celebrities.

Beyond recognizing the year’s top artists, the Jayli Awards offer a festive experience, highlighted by musical performances from both African and international artists, celebrating the richness of the African music scene.

Eligible works must have been produced between August 1 of the previous year and July 31 of the current year, with a submission deadline set for August 15.
