C.Waï and Panoramic are pleased to announce the launch of the Jayli Awards, a prestigious annual ceremony dedicated to celebrating the finest talents in African music.

Recognized as a hub of African music, Côte d’Ivoire proudly hosts the Jayli Awards each year—an event designed to promote musical excellence and support African artistic creation through rigorous technical standards. As a flagship continental gathering, the Jayli Awards aim to serve as a barometer of the vibrancy and innovation of African music creation. The ambition is to weave and strengthen the bridge between African cultures through music.

The Jayli Awards recognize the best artists of the year each year with nine competitive trophies and one lifetime achievement award. A high-level pan-African jury composed of producers, artists, cultural journalists, and experts in the Creative and Cultural Industries evaluates the nominated works according to international standards. Public voting also contributes to the selection of the winners, who are revealed during the prestigious “Jayli Night” in the presence of iconic African and international figures.

Beyond recognizing the best artists of the year, the Jayli awards provide a framework for training actors in the Creative and Cultural Industries, for discussion and for promoting the magnificence and diversity of African culture.

Eligible works must have been produced between August 1, 2024, and July 31, 2025.
