Wednesday July 26, 2023. Primature. The Ivorian Prime Minister has announced his support to the Jayli awards initiative. During an audience granted to its founder Mr. Cheick Yvhane, Mr. Patrick Achi was delighted with the project and the ambition that underlies it. That of promoting talent. “The Jayli awards, which by their scale plan to bring together and celebrate the best artists on the continent every year, cannot be envisaged without the support of the Ivorian government,” argued Cheick Yvhane, who thanked the Ivorian Head of Government for his spontaneous and formal support.

Launched on February 24, 2023 at the Salle des Fêtes of the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire and patronized by Mrs. Dominique Ouattara First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, the Jayli awards are co-organized by C•Waï and Panoramic. They aim to celebrate the excellence of African musical creation during a prestigious evening that will take place each year in Côte d’Ivoire. The ambition is to establish a bridge between Africas’ through music.

The trophies in competition will be awarded after the cumulative votes of a high-level Pan-African jury and the public according to a one-vote-one-vote principle.
The winners will be announced on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Palais des Congrès of the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire during a prestigious and cozy evening which will bring together outstanding figures and African celebrities. Represented in all five major regions of the continent, the Jayli awards will be promoted and broadcasted a few days later and simultaneously on several channels in fifteen African countries.
