The Jayli Awards was founded by Cheick Yvhane, a 20-year experience Ivoirian media personality. Also writer and awards winning journalist, Cheick Yvhane has experienced all the segments of Media industry (Television, Radio, Print, Marketing). He’s reputed to be a professional in all its sense. Graduated in Executive MBA – The top worldwide according to the Financial Times ranking – from the prestigious school HEC Paris after graduated successively in economics, commerce management, corporate communication, journalism, corporate management and television production.
Cheick Yvhane was appointed General Manager of radio Nostalgie – Top radio in Côte d’Ivoire – in 2016. He convinced the principal shareholder of Nostalgie Côte d’Ivoire to create the first private television in Côte d’Ivoire, NCI, of which he is the Head of Program. He is the co-owner of Esprit Magazine (Print) the first mindstyle magazine in Côte d’Ivoire. He was awarded twice (2006, 2013) as the best radio journalist and second best communicator of the year in 2016 in his country. In 2008, he was awarded as the best African reporter by OIF-RSF-RFI (International French-speaking countries organization, Reporters Without Borders, Radio France Internationale) in Canada. Cheick Yvhane received the award from Her Excellency Mrs Michaëlle Jean, Governor of Canada. Since 2020, he is in the top 100 ranking of most influential personalities of Côte d’Ivoire.
